Meeting held at Lok Bhavan after Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other dignitaries left
Newly appointed cabinet minister of UP Jitin Prasad said, “The chief minister has called the first meeting just after the function. A roadmap will be prepared. It is clear that we have got the love and support of the people. Election promises will be fulfilled.”
Prasad further said that from this meeting the BJP government will once again start work on making UP the number one state.
Prasad said, “The key message will be conveyed to every household. We will start working on our commitment to make UP the number 1 state.”
Meanwhile, another cabinet minister Baby Rani Maurya assured that the government will continue to work on women’s safety.
Maurya said, “The people of Uttar Pradesh have made us ministers, we will continue to work for them. We will work for the betterment of women with full sincerity. They will get justice and they will be protected.”
Meanwhile, others who attended the swearing-in ceremony in Lucknow congratulated the newly formed government and wished them all the best.
Minister of State SP Singh Baghel said, “I congratulate the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister and the entire cabinet. This victory is because of the hard work put in by every party worker from the booth level president to the national president of the party.” State (law and justice).
Union Minister Anurag Thakur has expressed confidence in the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
Thakur said, “I congratulate Yogi Adityanath on becoming the Chief Minister for the second time. The PM himself was here to bless the new government. I am confident that the state will reach new heights under the leadership of Yogi Adityanath.”
Yogi Adityanath was administered the oath as the Chief Minister of the state by Governor Anandiben Patel at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in the presence of over 50,000 people.
A total of 52 ministers, including two deputy chief ministers, took oath as ministers.
Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak took oath as Deputy Chief Ministers of the state. The BJP retained power in Uttar Pradesh by winning 255 seats out of 403 and garnering 41.29 per cent vote share.
