Aryan Khan kept in Quarantine in Arthur Road Jail
Aryan Khan and Arbaaz Merchant have been kept in the Quarantine Cell in the jail. The RT-PCR test report of all these has come negative, but according to the new guidelines of the jail, the new accused are kept in the Quarantine Cell for 3 to 5 days. If symptoms of corona are seen in both of them in 3-5 days, then they will be kept in this cell. At present, both Aryan and Arbaaz are lodged in barrack number 1 on the first floor of the new jail.
Aryan stayed in NCB’s office on Thursday night
The court said that without the Kovid report, the accused are not taken to jail, so everyone will have to stay in the NCB office on Thursday night. Which was accepted by the counsel for the accused. During the hearing in the court, the NCB requested for extension of the NCB custody of the accused, however, the court did not allow it.

- Opposing the NCB’s plea for extension of remand on Thursday, Aryan’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde said that his client has no relation with any other accused. The lawyer claimed that Aryan was on the cruise as a ‘VVIP guest’ and that ‘a person associated with Bollywood wanted to add glamor to the cruise and hence Aryan was invited’.
- Advocate Maneshinde said, “I (Aryan) is not associated in any way with any other person on board the cruise or other arrested accused. I have no relation with the organizers or other arrested accused. However, he admitted that Aryan knew Arbaaz Merchant.
- The lawyer said, ‘He (Merchant) is my friend, I am not denying it. But relationship with only one person is not enough to keep me in custody.

Let us tell you that Aryan Khan, Munmun Dhamecha and Arbaaz Mergent were arrested by the NCB during the raid on the Goa-bound cruise on October 3 while the remaining five other accused were arrested the next day. At the end of the remand period, the accused were produced before Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate RM Nerlikar. From here he was sent to judicial custody for 14 days.
