Union Minister Giriraj Singh said- Rahul Gandhi’s visit is inspired by political tourism

Political parties are accusing each other in the Lakhimpur violence case of Uttar Pradesh. Union Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Giriraj Singh on Saturday said Congress MP Rahul Gandhi’s visit to Lakhimpur Kheri is an example of “political tourism”.

During a conversation with Panchayati Raj Minister Giriraj Singh, he said, ‘There is no real sympathy and compassion in Rahul Gandhi who went to visit Lakhimpur Kheri. Wherever the Congress and other opposition parties get a chance, they go ahead with their political tours. I want to ask why Rahul Gandhi did not go to meet the family of the journalist who was killed in that incident. Why did he not go to the Valley to meet the families of those killed in Kashmir? Significantly, on October 3, eight people, including four farmers, were killed in the Lakhimpur Kheri violence.
